Crystalline Materials

A crystal or crystalline solid is a solid material whose constituents, such as atoms, molecules or ions, are arranged in a highly ordered microscopic structure, forming a crystal lattice that extends in all directions. The session will cover all aspects, from basic research and material characterization, through physicochemical aspects of growth and deposition techniques, to the technological development of industrialized materials. This track covers Semiconductors, Ferro/piezo-electric, Optical Materials, and Scintillator.
